How can I book a room?


Email us – we’ll send you an offer - you send us your acceptance – we send you Confirmation.




Do you need an advance?


It will depend upon the time of the year – we’ll let you know when you book.




Do you accept credit cards?


We accept Visa and Master.




Is breakfast included in the price?


Yes it is.




We are coming with 1 (or more) child; can we add an extra bed in a double room?


The stay is free for children under 5 years old; the hotel can add a crib (on request and according to availability).




What is the maximum number of people per room?


We recommend up to three adults but when the children are small, even a family of four can be accommodated in a room.




Do we pay extra if we do not ask for an extra bed?


Yes – we charge for Extra Person, irrespective of whether you ask for Extra bed




What is the difference between the Standard and Heritage Room?


We have just one Heritage Room. It is grander, has a water fountain and antique furniture. Our standard rooms have either a King or Queen bed or two beds joined together.




Can I book a specific room?


As most hoteliers will inform you, this is just not possible. Since we have only one Heritage Room, this can be specifically booked but for all the other rooms, we try to accommodate your requests but cannot guarantee it.




Are there non-smoking rooms?


All guests are requested not to smoke in the rooms




Is your hotel adapted for the handicapped?


Yes – the ground floor rooms can accommodate wheel chairs.




Are arrival and departure transfers free of cost?


Arrival transfers from the Railway station and Bus stand are free of cost (only one way is free of cost. Either arrival or departure)
Airport arrival and departure transfers are not free and are arranged at a reasonable cost.




Do you allow Pets?


Pets are not permitted in the hotel.





After You Arrive

At what time can I check into my room?


Check in time: 2 PM and Check out time: 12 noon. If you arrive in the morning and your room is available before 2 PM, we will check you in immediately. Otherwise, we will store your luggage and you can explore the Pink City or enjoy the pool or wait in the Lounge.




What are front desk hours?


The hours are from 8 AM to 11 PM; if you arrive before 8 AM (the Udaipur and Jaisalmer trains arrive early), someone will be there to receive you. Should you arrive at night after 11 pm, our staff will check you in – but the kitchen is closed. Check-in formalities are completed when the Front Desk is manned.




After I arrive, can I choose the room?


After you arrive we generally show you the vacant rooms and you can then make your choice.




At what time do we have to check out from the room?


Check out is at 12 noon; if you have a late train or flight to catch we will be happy to store your luggage till you leave.




What are the communication facilities available?


The hotel has a direct dial facility in all the rooms, and you can make international calls from the office at reasonable rates. We also have an internet cafe and free Wi-Fi




I’m leaving early, can I check out the night before I leave?


We request our guests to settle their bills the previous night if they are checking out before 8:00 AM.




How much should we tip?


If you are happy with the service, you can show your appreciation when you leave by keeping something for the staff in the common kitty.




Can you keep my luggage when I leave the room?


Yes

Are the rooms air-conditioned?


All our rooms are air-conditioned.




Do you have en-suite toilets?


All our rooms have en-suite toilets with a good supply of hot water. However we are a desert state and we request guests to be careful in the use of water.




Is tap water safe to drink?


We strongly recommend that you drink bottled water.




Do you have TV in the rooms?


We have installed Satellite TV in all the rooms which gives you plenty to choose from.




Can I have breakfast/meals in my room?


Not in the room but you have plenty of choice - dining room, poolside, your balcony, the lawns!
